BCLF Call For Short Stories
Caribbean writers of short fiction may now submit their short stories for a chance to be read at the 2019 BCLF Emergent Writers' Event on Saturday 08, 2019
This event is geared towards unearthing and encouraging the distinctive voice and story of the Caribbean-descended writer, and expand the creative writing landscape of Caribbean literature. Our small judging panel is dedicated to supporting the festival's efforts "to provide a stimulating experience wherein upcoming writers of Caribbean descent are encouraged and empowered to tell their stories". This event is the only one at the BCLF solely dedicated to enthusiastically lauding the efforts and talent of writers of short stories whose voices have yet to be heard.
There are no theme or genre restrictions. Copyright remains the property of the author
